I went to the state fair of Texas yesterday and got a good look at the new Ram. I like it. I know a lot of you guys were complaining that it's still not a real "crew cab" I really don't get it now. See I'm 6'7" and I fit in the back of the truck, kinda tight knee wise, but I fit. I would not even try to get in the back of my quad without greasing up first! Not a lot of people are as big as I am. Most people are going to be fine back there !

Looks to me like most of the legitimate *****es are gone as far room is concerned. Can't wait for new 3500 to show up. They already have over 50000 of the new engines running in Europe so the bugs should be out or at least identified before we get the new motor.

My 2 cents.

I was really looking forward to the new Ram 4-Door. I was thinking of trading my 3500 for one. The first thing I did was sit in the back seat. Boy, was I dissappointed! It seemed like my Quad cab, in comfort, with just the doors going the opposite way.

The Dakota 4 door is way more comfortable in the back seat.

All that money for redesigning and it stinks. I'm going to keep my Y2K Quad now

:(

I agree with BFC, I thing the new truck has plenty of room, WAY more than my 2000 QC, Just waiting now for next year.

I sat in the back seat of one of the new Ram 1500's on Thursday and I liked the add'l. room that it offered over my 01' 2500. Although I appreciate the added room, and the new door configuration, it still doesn't compare to the room offered in the Ford or Chevy Crew Cabs. I do like the add'l space the other mfg. 's offer, but the Cummins will keep me coming back to Dodge if they don't continue to "cheepen" the truck by deleting comfort and function items (lighted vanity mirrors, full rear wheel liners just to name a few).
