I love my truck but I have been thinking about selling due to the fact that I haven't towed a thing since I bought her, she is set up very nice and has been adult owned. I don't have the plans for her like I thought I would. Any of you ever feel like your daily driver is seriously an overkill? I drive all highway for about 20 miles. I will have to say its an awesome winter vehicle. Thing is all the little trucks get the same or worse mileage then I do and can't tow worth a darn if you need to. Just curious if any of you feel the same way. Its a rare truck around here, most are auto's and it would sell fast... just not sure if I should or not.

I get better mileage than my dad's toyota, his ain't fun to drive, and NO ONE looks at his twice. If you need the money, sell, but a good well-cared for truck that can tow or is comfortable on a long trip is next to impossible to come by. The replacement cost will be high if you ever regret selling.

If you like driving keep it.

Of course I use mine for business and personal use.

I love:D getting on the highway and driving the Mule. The longer the drive the better. Usually that means a run to KC (personal use). But I like driving it to the markets also.

But for business I rather drive the Freigtliner to the markets because that means I am picking up a decent load, which means a bigger pay check.

If its your daily driver, keep it (as long as its paid for) but buy a car to drive every day. Just drive the truck when you feel like it. If you sell it, you will regret it.

my wife drives our megacab 40 miles a day. yes its massive over kill, but we love the truck and part of the reason we bought it was so that we dont have to buy her another vehicle for a very long time. i am guessing that you will regret selling it. with fuel creeping higher the thought of getting rid of the mega has crossed my mind, more than once. but it has stayed nothing more than a thought. we just love the ol girl to much.

I had a feeling you all would say that. Its paid for, however the wife hates driving it. I can't justify buying a third car. I might as well drive it and pay for the diesel then buy another car. I don't really need the money, just don't use it for what its built for. Maybe I am thinking like my Dad. Thanks for the input

Now mind you, this is just my OWN personal experience, but it's a whole lot easier to get a good used wife that likes driving a truck than finding a good, used, well cared for truck with low miles... but that's just me. When you drive along Pacific Coast Highway in a nice CTD, chicks just pull their tops off for you to get your attention as they see you coming down the road. How hard could it be?
