I really love my truck. :) I have had it for about 4 years now and still get wood when I drive it. No problems or complaints out of me. :p Dodge yoo guys built one he11 of a truck and Cummins you guys really know how to make a truck a blast to drive. :D

That's all for now, I'm going to go sit in my truck and make motor noises now.

Big D

Big D, I'll second that  . Despite the small problem with the lift pump dilemma, I wouldn't trade it for any other.

Why sit in the back and make truck noises, fire her up and smell the great aroma of diesel in the evening. Makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck just thinking of it, but I'm a sick, sick man ;) .

Scott W.

Na

Scott, your not sick just normal. :D I don't think moma would like me starting my truck at 11:30pm she jsut might make me sleep in the pole barn.

I'm with you, too. This is my second Ram and it's a good one. I replaced the lift pump cause I wanted to and Dodge replaced the stearing box cause they wanted to. This one's a keeper. I was over at a fellow SETDR member's house last night. He said his truck has over 200K and he just got back from a trip to Texas. That's why I bought one of these. They are good, tough trucks.

I have owned two Corvettes at different times many years ago. I feel the same now about my truck that I did about those cars. With the power, they are just flat fun to drive. :D

Phil

I agree, with the fuel mileage I am getting and the power I have it is a super feeling. One good thing is with the cummins you don't have to worry about it conking on you when you hit a 100,000 or more on the odometer like on a lot of gas engines.

DarrellB--what's your point-"Momma might make me sleep in the pole barn"-just pull the ol' Ramasaurus in there with ya and the laugh will be on her---nothing like sleeping with a RAM. . he,he;):D... ... . chris

Me too...

I love my truck also. I'm at 53k now and except for a lift pump and a clutch(my fault on the clutch)I've had absolutly no problems. Always starts no matter how cold,no trackbar or alignment problems, still tight. Not bad for the Dodge wrapper some guys complain about:rolleyes: . It's good once in awhile for a few of us to get on here and talk about what's right with our trucks;) :) . Doug

I agree with FFutch

It's good once in awhile for a few of us to get on here and talk about what's right with our trucks

I love my truck 122k. No trouble, blast to drive. Giving the F and C boys fits and I am stock. (Soon to add an EZ). I also enjoy reading and posting here on the TDR lots of great people and information.

Thanks for being here,

Jeff

Nice thread. Bigsaint stuck a chord in me. Since I've driven the Cummins, I considered the smell of diesel like the CHANEL of the highways, perfume to my nose. But aroma! What's better than the aroma of a great cup of coffee waifing up your nose intermixed the diesel fumes. Oh man, I guess I should be committed.

Been there, Done that

Chris, I've had to sleep with the Ram a couple of times, mostly because I was tooooo drunk to make the walk to the house. :-laf :D

Big D

This is good. I love the feeling once I've changed filters, fluids, and other assorted things on my truck! Truck seems to like it. I've slept in mine too... I'll pull off I-40 out in the desert somewhere about 2:00 a. m. and just sit there at the wheel with the window down and nap for a half hour or so, then drive on until I get tired again.

Maybe we oughta petition TDR for a "Nice" forum, where you are only allowed to say nice things about your truck!

You guys are awesome!! I am nineteen and love everything about diesel. Have you guys heard that song on Arron Tippins latest CD called "Big Boy Toys". Man that song says it all. Actually, I have two extra burned versoins of the cd; if yall want one drop me a line. My dad thinks I am nuts about trucks!! I can't help it, I love trucks. I am glad I am not the only nut. Sometimes when I fill up I get a little diesel on my hands. When I am in class at the local college, I can always reminisce w/ a quick wiff of the diesel. :) Oh yeah, IMHO CHEBY SUCKS!!
