You really only need the Pre filter if you are driving in REALLY dusty areas ALOT. Just put the K&N on by itself for now and when you finally get the pre filter, it just slips over the K&N. You wont have any problems not using one for awhile, its just extra insurance.

I run mine without the pre-filter when I take it off to clean it. Seems like it's the only thing to get dirty. It's fine without it. Especially for a short amount of time.

I just ordered both from Diesel injection Service today. Price was the best I have found and both are in stock.

I took the prefilter off because it was so much louder than just the filter. With it off the turbo noise is much smoother.

I will sale my filter that was used for one week.

My air filter is in need of replacement. Thinking of going with the RE-0880, but everybody is out of stock on the 25-0880 prefilter, does anyone have one they would like to sell, also, do I really need the prefilter ?
