K&N Installed! Oil and fuel filters?

Howdy, I just installed my K&N air filter (#E-1023) on my truck about 6:00. Gooood stuff! off and back on in less than 5 min.

Does anyone have this filter with the prefilter I looked for the

K&N one but I couldn't find one? Do they make one for this model

Also, what oil and fuel filters do you guys use? I still use Mopar.

My mechanic said that the little water drain plug on the fuel filter sometimes will start leaking? I was thinking about getting a Wix

fuel filter that has a water seperator without the hole in the bottom? does that make sense?

Don't know if anyone has a pre-filter for the K&N - I've run mine for over 120,000 miles and clean it every 12,000 miles.

For oil filters I use Fleetgard LF3894 StrataPore and change oil every 6,000 miles. You can get the oil and fuel filters through Cummins or at "Geno's Garage".

I make it a habit of draining my fuel filter every week and replacing it every 12,000 miles - so far no leaks. All it takes is a small shot of fuel - a little less than an ounce drained out will work. Hope this helps.
