Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) K&N oil filters

Has anyone used the K&N oil filters? Are they approved by cummins? Anybody had any bad experiences with using them?

ive been using those k&n filters for the last year or so... . no complaints here... ... although im not sure if they are approved by cummins or not. .

oh no an air filter war... ...



check out a search on air filters and you will find all you want, i personally just pulled my out and went with a bhaf and my everything looks alot cleaner then with the k&n

The key word is OIL filter, not AIR filter. I don't need to know anything about k&n air filters.

yes, been using them the last few oil changes. they are good filters, and are actually made by Champion Labs for K&N I think. I especially like the 1" nut on the bottom. Also using them on race car with no problems.

yeah the nut on the bottom makes for quick removel of filter during oil changes.....
