My buddys 00 F250 ps's alt went down under warr. Took it in and the dealer told him to remove the K&N or void the warr. I got rid of mine when I had my old CTD.

Some Dodge dealers sell K&N filters, other will void your warranty for running tires other than stock size. Just depends on who you like doing business with.

My son just bought a 2001. 5 Dodge CTD 4X4 from

"Hendrick Dodge" in Cary, N. C. They sell "K&N" filters

for all of the Dodge Diesel trucks right in their parts

dept. showroom! I already run a K&N filter in my 96'

(I like it and have had NO PROBLEMS with it) and asked

the parts manager if I "bought a K&N for my son's truck

and installed it would it void the warranty?" His reply

was "No it won't!"
