So now you have a K. O. R. E. suspension,... ... . what are your thoughts and opinions? How do you use your truck?? Where does your suspension do its best/worst? Thanks for your input!!

P. S. no, I don't work for K. O. R. E. but I sure would like an E-ticket ride through Baja... ... Kent???... ... . Greg... . ???

Well, I just installed my KORE leveling kit. I know it's not the whole enchilada, but I'll give my opinion anyhow.

I don't live near a desert, nor do I have any intent of burning up some dirt roads at 75mph. I do however have to drive on some pretty bad roads and highways.

My first impression was that the truck felt more unstable and a bit frisky on bad roads at slower speeds mostly. Other than that, I couldn't tell much difference beside the front end obviously being higher. After logging a few more miles, I am now really feeling the opposite. I think not changing the rear makes the difference that much more noticeable. I have hit some really bad places in the roads at higher speeds that I would normally avoid at any speed. The front end seems to absorb the bump whereas before a bad bump would resonate throughout the front end and affect the steering and sometimes alter the direction of the truck. Not now. You still feel the bump but it has much less affect on the truck. Like I said, I have the bottom of the KORE line and I can't imagine how much better the race system must be.

Sorry for the lame review, but thats real world.

My leveling kit has been on for a while now so the effective change is now just a memory.

Memory recalls a major change in ride quality over rough stuff, especially nasty bumps at speed. Lot's of road improvement going on in my area and driving over the raised manhole covers was a great before/after test. Just wish they would finish the roads I travel to work every day as it does get old.

I also have a heavy plow. The Kore springs and Bilsteins handle the weight of it very well. No bouncing.

Recently I had two instances of DW. I'm looking into leveling the stabilizer bar with Kore billet spacer blocks. Lifting these four link axles can put them out of stability. You need to get the geometry just right. Hopefully lowering/leveling the hinge point of the bar will reduce oscillation during suspension travel.

I had DW start when I put the larger tires and Revtek leveling kit on last Spring. I unloaded the Revtek spacers for the Kore kit because I wanted an engineered setup as opposed to a "poor mans" lift. The Revtek spacers were breaking mounting studs.

Adjusting caster aleviated the DW for about 12000 miles but it's creeeping back. Time to play with it again.

Engineered ? 2 springs & 2 shocks.

Yes. Two progressive rate springs custom tailered to your truck (gas, diesel, heavy loading, etc. , you tell them when you order) and two of the best monotube shocks on the market. Engineered.

Yes, it is an engineered setup, even the leveling kit. There is no comparison to others out there. Kent has spent countless hours coming up with the right tuning for shocks and springs.

Yo Hoot, have you checked all of your steering joints. I had 2 pieces with play, and that was contributing to the DW. The sway-bar drop brackets work nice, too.

I've had a KORE chase system +mini paks on for about two months now. I have a short 2500 and run it on 35" pro-comp A/T. I also have the Fox steering stabilizer. Unfortunatly, I am in school so I have yet to bomb the thing off road. As far as on road charecteristics, I have noticed vast improvements in my handeling. It is a bit rough at low speeds, but I wouldn't say that its worse then stock. At speed (55 mph+) the thing is awesome. I hit bumps that used to lift my tail off the ground and now I stay planted. I have them valved for a 250 Lb. winch bumper which I have yet to get on (cause I can't afford it right now!) But I'm sure it will dampen even better once that extra weight is on. I've noticed that I can accelerate through turns a lot harder then I could before as well, which is nice as I have lots of winding roads to hit. As far as offroading, I can give you an update in a month or so. After finals its up to the sierra's for the real trials!

Hope that helps

one more plus... they look fu**in awesome
