Filled my Kalifornia '04. 5 325/600 on Saturday and here are the results: $79. 30 @ 2. 199/gallon:mad:; 633. 3 miles on 36. 06 gallons which works out to 17. 56 mpg. The overhead showed 17. 4 mpg. The pump stopped at 28. 5 gallons and with patience, I was able to squeeze another 7. 5 gallons in and brought it up to the top of the filler neck. This thing is as big a PITA as the Ford twin tanks.

Truck has 1300 miles on the odometer. Weighs 7500 with half a tank of fuel. I run on the freeway at 70 mph and this tank was mostly(80%) freeway(70 mph) with some urban driving 30-50 mph with countless stoplights and stopsigns.

The cities of Antioch and Brentwood (no not the OJ Brentwood) has gone bananas with stoplights in the last 3 years. I am pleased with the mileage and I know it is only going to get better.

Dang I though I was getting raped at the pump here in WV for $1. 85/gal. I guess I'll thank the Lord that I don't live out there with ya'll.

Hey Roperteacher, I'm guessing you teach roping. Team, breakaway or calf? I had to give up roping in order to eat and pay for fuel for my truck! John

Filled up today in Ft. Worth at a Shell for $1. 64 and was a little preturbed after $1. 51 last week. Would not want to be in Cali right now!!

Hope it gets better soon.
