St.Louis dyno day Nov 7

Its about time for another dyno day? I was thinking about the 22 of Aug. I don't know yet what the dyno guys have scheduled yet.

Please give us your input.

Adam

I've been waitin on this. I'll be there. I will see if I can round up some fellas w/ some real horsepower to come too. :D Adam, talk to Russell and see if he can sneak us some goodies from St. Jo Diesel. J/k:rolleyes:

I should be able to make it. I'm having transmission troubles AGAIN. Which caused me to miss the last one, so hopefully it'll be sorted out by then.

Nathan

I'm going to try and make it. I want to find out what this Juice is making. Be a good time to try that Turbo John.

Larry

I'm up for it. do you have any particuler place in mind? I've been working on a shop in grain valley that is setting up a dynojet 248. I'm going to stop by there some time this week and see if they have had any luck finishing the set up.

Well you know I will be there, as far as I know the 22 works for me, especially since there isn't supposed to be any more truck pulls around here for the rest of the year, I guess that leaves me wide open. I will put up a flyer at work, and hopefully that will help promote a few more trucks to show up.

Russell

Well it has happened again. The transmission ate the dust, so I wont be able to make it. God damn transmission cooler line got a hole in it and I didn't catch the leak soon enough and it burnt up. I doubt Blumenthals well warranty it but who knows I'll figure that out tomorrow.

Nathan

Maybe its time to call Floor It, and get a transmission worth a snot. And believe you me it's worth a heck of lot more than snot, I am thoroughly amazed at what a properly built auto will take. Then again if you went to a manual you wouldnt have to worry about cooling lines, then you could just get the clutch we got for mine... . (I'll let John tell you about it considering he technically owns it as I still owe a him a LOT OF $$$... LOL), and hopefully if I can get my turbo built at work some dang evening this week I should know how it holds with a real load and real HP to PULL it on Fri. night.

Russell

I will be going to Platte City, 2 miles from home... LOL... I need to go that one, mostly because my work is sponsoring the pull itself, so I really need to go that one, I wish I could do both this one and the one in Vinland (just south of Lawrence, about 10 miles from Johns house), but I can only be in one place at a time.

That sounds like a good idea, Sept, 18 would be a bad idea, because there will be a diesel drag race in Osbourne, Mo that day. Other than that I am not aware of anything around here, I am still trying to find another pull before the season is over. Now that I have my first hook I am dying to go again.

Russell

Good... maybe I'll have the twins on by then!

We're having an MWTDR campout Sept 24/25/26; perhaps we should combine them? Camp somewhere not too far from KC?

If I don't have to work on witch ever day you guys pick I might be able to make it.

what kind of dyno are you going to be using?
