Karma Is Tough Sometimes

Saturday, I was passing through Hazelhurst, GA, driving the speed limit (45) and saw a car approaching from the Wal-Mart. Instead of going to the light for the Wal-Mart traffic to exit with a left turn, she cut through a restaurant parking lot, and as I approached, she pulled out in front of me to make her left turn. In the oncoming left lane was a tractor trailer. I blew my horn and pointed at the truck, she looked at me, flipped me off and then ran under the left rear of the truck's trailer. The left rear tandem knocked her car out and I was by before she got spun back into my lane. It demolished the front end of her car, blew out the windshield and passenger side glass and her bumper fell off. She then appeared to be trying to leave the scene. I was pulling over when I saw her try to drive over her bumper and and it hung under the front tires and that stopped her. At that point, I decided that the Hazelhurst PD weren't going to need a witness statement from me. Damage to the tractor trailer appeared to be negligible. Karma is tough sometimes.
