I want one Bad, Used, Low Mileage, Cant find any cheap. New they are only $4,999. 00. Maybe I should just buy a New One!

Anyone out there have one, How reliable is it?. I used to have a 1990 Yamaha XT600, And had some problems with it.

Doug.

I haven't heard much good about the KLR. I don't like the electric fans on a dual-sport. I thought my XR650L was heavy untill I rode a KLR. Man, those are a pig!

I'd probably buy a new XR or a Husaberg dual-sport if money wasn't a problem.

30lbs difference.

Money, Yeah I know what you mean.

The KLR650 weighs only a little more the the XR or DR, But Since I weigh in at 290lbs And I dont think the KLR650s weight is gonna be a problem. LOL!. Its gonna look like a Pig Riding a Pig!... He he he.

If you plan on doing any hard riding off-road, then the stock KLR suspension will suck. The DR has a better suspension as does the XR. If I had to do it over again, I'd buy a YZ426 or the new CR450 and get one of the kits that make them street-legal. It would perform much better on and off road.
