I did two KDPs last week. One was about 1/8" out and the other 3/16" OTOH one I did a couple weeks before that had not moved.

Did the KDP lastnight the drill went all the way i, with the screw in it's going to stay.

What was your mileage?

I have not done mine yet. Still under warranty but it runs out at

75,000. 3k left.

grtescpa, every mile you drive is like buying another lottery ticket, your chances increase. My experience on 35 jig fixes is that the only two pins out far enough to stop the jig drill were both '97s. I wouldn't wait for warranty to run out mainly because I wouldn't want a dealer touching my truck.

My truck has 177,000 on the clock and it was a little over 1/16" out. . It wont come out anymore... ... . I tabbed that bad boy!

A great big thanks for everyone who contributed info for, and to, the KDP fix. Last weekend, I did mine the long way. Remove the

front cover (I wanted to R&R the ft. seal anyway) and staked and

green LockTited the pin. As of 114K miles, the pin had not moved.

For once, (and I mean once!!) the diesel gods were with me... .

KDP Jigg

I'd love to send my $20 in. Only problem is I don't know if I'm on my ones list. I asked to be and one fine soul said he'd notify someone else to put me on the list, but that's the last I ever heard from anyone. No "you're on the list" or anything else. I live in souther California, but I'm only two/three hours from Las Vegas, Nevada. Any help out there? I've got 77,000 or the clock.
