Anyone around the area have this jig or have a gathering coming up where they will be doing this?



My mother's 98 12V hasn't had it done, I'm sure and was wanting to overt any future problems caused by this pin.

I would reccommend pulling the cover off and doing the pin that way. The first gen section has had two trucks break cams from bolts coming out. Both of these truck lost cams within the last year.



I pulled my cover off a couple of weeks ago and found two bolts that if I had tried I could have taken them out by hand with just a socket and extension on them. Case500D found one loose bolt on his 93 W350 a month or so back.



The front seal and cover gasket would come in right around $50 to $60. Depends where you bought it from. There hasn't been a bomb party around In in a while that I can rmember.



You should have put this in the second gen forum. It would have gotten more answers.
