Attention: TDR Forum Junkies Who has the KDP jig to drill into the case and add the set screw from the outside. Getting my "new" engine back from Cummins this week and would like to do the fix immediatly.
I sent a tab with the truck but was told by the tech that it would not work with my gearcase. He also said that if it wasn't a standard Cummins procedure that they couldn't do it. He said he could not even put a dimple in the case to keep the Dowel from walking out. Said he'd never seen it happen anyway.
I'm sure he hung up the phone thinking I was the idiot.
