Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) KDP missing in action

Today i installed anew front ccrank seal I was looking forward to tabbing my KDP It is not there The only damage was the bolt boss by the cam gear Fortunately that bolt is bridged by the crank sensor bracket Should I get anew dowl pin and install it? Or leave well enough alone I guess I got lucky

You should have a dowell pin in that hole. It supports the injection pump in exactly the proper location.
