I took the timing cover off to check the dowel pin. The housing looks different where the dowel pin is compared to my 96. I thought the housing where the dowel pin is flush with the area where the bolt is. On my 92, the housing around the dowel pin steps up higher than where the bolt tightens down. Any help? If I would use a KDP kit from TST, it would require a longer bolt and a spacer below the bolt to space it the same height as the dowel pin area. The dowel pin appears to be in all of the way. Thanks.

Howdy, I have an 89 D250 CTD, and I ordered the TST tab kit. It had an option on their website to choose the year. I know when I went there a few months ago it didn't cover the 89, it covered from 94 and up if I'm not mistaken. It came with what I needed to get the job done. Hope this helps.
