I want to do the KDP fix on a 94 that I just purchased. It is CPL 1815. I have purchased a new front seal, the gasket, the longer capscrew (3900631) and the lockingtab (3958017). While I am in there I will torque the 4 oil pump bolts, the 2 cam plate retaining bolts, and any other timing case bolts. My question is, How many case bolts are there? I don't want to forget any and live to regret it. I would like to remove, clean, locktite and reinstall all of them or at least as many as possible at this stage of dissassembly. Thanks, John

Don't recall for sure, but I think there are 5 (?) case bolts behind the cover. I think I was only able to get to 3 of the inside case bolts. Been a while since I've been in there.

The bolts for the cover are several different lengths. I would lay them out on a bench to keep them in order.

IIRC, they are all (case and cover bolts) torqued to 18 ft/lbs.
