KDP retainer tab#s

someone here told me there was a tab from cummins that goes under tha bolt next to the KDP & holds it in

R&R tome for the cover is 1. 5HR so Im gona use the tab rather than the jig method

what Im curious about is what is the part # for the pin retainer tab

my local cummins dealer has no idea what Im tlaking about

The tab is really easy to make. E-mail me if you want a sketch including dimensions of what it looks like.



Edit: If you have a 1st gen truck please mention it so I won't send you the whole 2nd gen instruction set.

You know jak, I believe that I saw in here somewhere, someone was making these tabs cheap for folks. Do a search, I do know that the 1st gen and the second gen tabs are different slightly, as i have both. Not a bad job and be sure to tightnen all the inner cover bolts with locktite. I'd take joe g up on his offer. Tim
