I will be doing the KDP tab fix this weekend and I have all the supplies, but I am not still to sure where the pin is in the gear case. Thanks in advance for the help.

Here is a picture showing a pin that fell out and damaged the gear case. 'A' is where the pin was and 'B' is where it caused damage.

Thats the beast... I caught mine at 1/16" out. . it wont come out anymore. . And a special thanksto R. ebel. . for advanced shipment of the tab and also Joe G. for instructions... .

Once you get the nut off from behind the fan. . its a cake walk. Take this little piece of advice... get a long chiesel or make one like I had to. . to remove the nut. . The wrench would work if you could hold the pulley.

I gave KDP info to Chrysler

I have printed off some of the posts from the discussion form, plus the picture that DMAC posted, and gave it to a man who works at chrysler headquorters in the Cummins engine dept. He had never heard of a problem with the KDP, and was pleased to get the Info. He knew just who to take that information to.
