Do some 24 valve engines have the KDP. How can you tell???

Up to early '99 some 24v's had the old cover, I don't think there's anyway to tell, but your better off fixin' it before you find out.

Check out the top threads in the 12 valve forum. Your model year could have a potential very expendsive problem.

It stands for Killer Dowel Pin.

An allignment pin in the timing case that can fall out and create an expensive oil leak.
