I am on my 3rd head gsk in aprox 2500 miles. I have been going easy on the GO PEDAL since doing all the engine and transmission work. By the numbers my twins should produce 70-80 psi, but i have been pretty easy on them only going to 45-50 psi before letting out of it. I am wondering if i should O-Ring the head this time. This problem is getting very old and expensive. Plus the cost of flushing the radaitor every time to remove the oil out of the cooling system. Any other ideas would be of great help.

Thanks

just as you thought there isn't any substitute for doing it the right way . bring your boost down to less than forty or go the whole thing . at 70 to 80 the engine life can't be all that long in my opinion .

invest in some head studs. they will be able to handle 70-80 ponds without O-rings. the stock setup should be good for about 60 so most likely your engine or head is a bit cattywonpus.
