I'm looking at getting the 5-6" Kelderman lift kit for the front and rear of my 04. 5. I want to run bigger tires than 35's so that rules out the KORE system. I lifted my F250 PSD and it rode like a roller skate from then on. Not going there again. Really like the improved ride and all from the Kelderman. Anyone have the system? Anyone rode in a truck or have personal experience?? Thanks

I've got the 5" system on my 03. The ride is diffrent than stock, better in some ways, worse in others. Nothing like the "roller skate" thing you describe, I too have ridden in those. I like the system, professonal fit and finnish. If you're going to do the install by yourself plan on a day for each, front and rear. If you have a bunch of specific questions feel free to PM me.

Poly control arm bushings give you more road vibration than the stock rubber ones. Although not noticable on most roads, you feel it in the right places. It also tracks the road more closely now. The stock suspension has/had a more floaty feel, believe it or not. Part of the neat thing about airbags is the fact that you can adjust the resposiveness of the bags by adding a storage reservoir at each bag. Kelderman does this on the back because the bags are so big but I'd do more of it to cater the system to my driving needs/desires.

The largest advantage the the system is the added suspension travel that you gain. It's not the stock front springs that make it ride rough, it's only having 2" of travel before it smacks the stops and tries to throw you out the window.

I'll try to help if I can. Jeff Kelderman knows this stuff inside out, he's the guy to ask install questons of.
