Kelowna area members

Are there any reputable shops in the area that you would trust your truckto? Just kind of want to know for future reference. I live about 4hrs away and could make a mini-vacation for family while getting my truck worked on if need be.

Where do you live in relation to Kelowna?? and what kind of work are you thinking of? Upgrades or just routine maintenance. I live in summerland and do most of my own servicing ie brakes etc and did my own headgasket. I had my upgrades done by Piers at his shop at the coast. 4 hr drive for me.

I live 4hrs east in the Kootneys,so PDR is a9hr trip for me. I normaly go there when I am at the coast,but its kind of a long way unless there is other business there. I was just wondering because my front timing cover is leaking and I have friends in Kelowna that I could visit with.

There is a Kelowna member that posts on this site, just can't remember is user name right now. Maybe he will pick up on this thread. Are you sure the timing cover leak is not the KDP?? what year is your vehicle?

My truck is a 98 12valve ,5speed,Quad Cab. I had PDR kill the dowl pin soon after I bought it
