Murphy's law

I bumped up the memory usuage of the database server by 10%. Bad thing is, tonight the number of users went way up and we just got a server busy message.



I just bumped the memory up another 15% and restarted the db server. I'm staying on top of this and will attempt to keep the sucker faster. We're doing tweaks on the fly and monitoring memory usage... if we need more RAM we'll add it.

With memory so cheap, why not add another 256 or 512 MB and not worry about it. Were only talking about $50. 00.
