Kerrville Tx. Rally question

12V brothers, I was wondering what kind of a schedule there was for the meeting! I may be able to come down for it but it will be last min(Depends on what the country is doing) if so is everyone meeting fri or sat? I would like to see what piers and DTT have to offer for info as I will use them for parts and knowledge and to meet some other CTD folks, thanks for any info!

Check the schedule cause it's gonna change. Things are getting moved around a little bit. Most of the imformation seminars will be held Saturday morning. The transmission seminar will probably get moved to Sunday morning.

DTT is doing a general overview of the transmission, this will include installing an update kit, changing the 4 clutch pac to a 5 clutch pac, 2nd gear band swap out, and i will show you how we do an end play test on the transmission.



Chuck the owner of A1 transmissions in Kerville has kindly agreed to allow me to use his shop for the demonstrations.



We are using Joe P's truck for the demo, it is a 1999 Dodge,

a lot of what i want to go over with you guys is road test proceedures , kick down cable adjustments, vb pressure adjustments, how to adjust shift points, tps adjustments,

voltage regulator and resistor installs, a lot of what i do is not the parts, the set up in these transmissions is equally critical to how long they will live.



If you guys have pressure gauges you should bring them, any of you with digital volt meters this will be handy also.



I am getting the feeling the camground is going to be turned into a tweaking center.



Anyways , Stefan and i look forward to meeting those of you that are attending.

Wish I could call in sick! But I work in general aviation and been out of work for the last 2 weeks. Faa just cleared us to fly yesterday, got make some money for all those bombs you guys are making me buy

I'll see what I can do for taping parts of everything, although I have a 5-speed transmission, I may not get what *you* would find to be "good info". ALthough, I know, just from hearsay, that everything Bill K. Says is Good Info. I guess I'll be using up tapes and Batteries on my Camcorder as fast as you can say, BOMBs Away!



Maybe somebody could convert sections of the video I will be filming into . MPG format?

My camera is one of those "normal", non-digital type videocorders.

That is just tentative right now. If Chuck decides to stay in town Saturday it may get moved up. We'll just have to wait and see.
