Key Question

I have a 2008 with a key FOB. Is a "normal" cheap key available from Dodge? Normally I wire-up a key to the frame the day I buy a new car. I thought I did this with some type of valet key, but couldn't find it when I needed it.



FYI, with two coat hangers and duct tape you can fish a set of keys thru the sun roof to body gap. A gap I remembered the first time I washed the roof and pressed on the roof with next to no weight.

I also have just a regular key that will open the door but if you try to run the truc with it it shuts down in about five seconds and they told me when I bought the truck that if you did that a few time in a row the truck computer would lock up and the truck would have to be towed to dealer to get it started again. bg
