keyless entry and back up lites

Hello all,Now that I have my CTD I was wondering if anyone has successfully installed a keyless entry system in their trucks?If so what brand chrysler,aftermarket,other?Another question is once i figure out why my back up's don't work I was wondering if there is a company that makes some nice low profile extra brite lights to use as back up lites?Or have you guys just gone the fog light route?Thanks again I love this forum/site.

I have the Mopar EVS (Electronic Vehicle Security) System on my truck. It works very well and includes keyless entry along with the alarm. I don't know if the current versions will work with a 1st Gen truck but might be worth checking into.



As far as back-up lights go, I bought a set from Auto Zone and put on my Jeep. They work pretty well and are pretty small. They were also only around $30 for the kit (two lamps, brackets, and wiring harness).

Well I fixed the back up lights today. The problem was one of the male terminals sticking out of the transmission switch was bent and not making contact with the wire that was supposed to plug on to it. Must have been some ham handed installer when the put in the NV4500. Now that this is fixed now i can worry about passing an inspection. I worry about the smoke it bellows when I get on it. I wonder if it could be the fact that the turbo has a 16cm2 housing and I think the pump has been tuned some. The truck has great power and I don't mind the smoke but the commonwealth of Mass may have a problem with it.
