2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Keyless Entry Problem

My trucks alarm cycles every morning when I unlock the doors with the Keyless Entry System remote. It only does this the first time I press the open doors button on the remote. After the horn starts honking and I press the panic button, it stops. For the remainder of the day, it works normally. The neighbors certainly don't appreciate horn honker next door. I've locked the doors by pressing the lock switch and in the morning tried opening the doors manually, and it works sometimes without setting off the alarm/horn from hell episode. Anyone else experienced this problem. I'd prefer not to take it to the stealer, as I don't want them finding strange things under my hood, and it is also a 150 mile round trip to the nearest one. Any suggestions?

Also, do you need the turnbuckle if you have the Edge EZ and elbow installed.

Thats why I ditched my factory keyless in favor of a Clifford system. HOWEVER In the owners manual you can re program it using several methods and steps to opt and De~Opt certain proceedures. Its in the back of the book if Memory serves me right. I had mine working fine but ... ... ... ... ... ... ... .
