Keyless entry programming

Does anyone know how to program the remote keyless entry?



I have a new key faub and the dealer told me to look in the owners manual for instructions on how to make it work with my current one. I couldn't find anything in the book. The manual says to "contact your dealer for programming".

This is rigt from my manual...



" To program a transmitter, turn the ignition switch to the ON position while the vehicle is stopped. Press and hold the unlock button on a currently programmed transmitter for a minimum of 4 seconds and a maximum of 10 seconds. While pressing the unlock button, press and release the panic button. Release the unlock button and a single chime will sound. This indicates that the module is in programming mode. Within 30 seconds, press and release the lock or unlock button on all transmitters intended for use with this vehicle except the transmitter used to start the program. Successful programing will be indicated by a single chime".



What they don't tell ya is that this will also boost your HP by 20% and increase your MPG by 15%



Just kidding on the last part, I only gained about 20 HP with the reprogramming
