Keyless remote

Has anybody disconnected the horn on their 03, so it won't honk when they use their keyless remote. I just picked my truck up yesterday, only 150 miles on it. I don't have a manual yet, I would like to disconnect the horn right away. It would save me time, trying to figure it out, if someone has done it. I keep hitting the button, activating the door locks.

The procedure is in the owner's manual.



Close all doors and turn on the ignition and latch the seatbelt (so you don't confuse the chimes).



Press and hold the LOCK button on the key fob. Hold it down for a minimum of 4 seconds but no longer than 10 seconds. While holding down the LOCK (after the four seconds) also press and hold the UNLOCK button. When a single chime is heard, release both buttons. Turn the key off. Repeat to enable the horn chirp.

Thanks, I am still looking through the owners manual, so I guess I haven't got that far. I didn't think Dodge would make it that easy.

It's also very easy to disable the auto lock at 15 mph, and make it so all doors unlock with a single press on the fob (instead of twice). Don't know the exact procedures (they're similar to the one Casey described), but it's pretty clear in the owner's manual.
