Archived Keys locked in....any tricks?

Just realized I locked my keys in my pickup... you guys have any hints on breaking in? Besides the fact that I can't find my spare key (believe it left the vehicle).



'01, QC, no keyless entry. Closest spare (that isn't supposed to be on the pickup) is 1000 miles away.

ok, just did a search... and I do have a sliding rear window, but it is blocked by my canopy that doesn't have a sliding front window, so no go there... . any other options?

If you have the sliding rear window,you can pop the little plastic catch off with a small thin knife.



They are also pretty easy to slimjim,any tow truck driver should have one.

Sliding rear window...

If you have one and can get at it. You might be able to pop the latch open if you have the right tool. I drilled a tiny hole in the latch and popped mine open.

Yup, but I'm sorry to tell you that it's to keep your spare key in your wallet.



Some cops will open it with a slim jim for ya.



Other than that, you're pretty screwed.

just called AAA... . roommate has their service, so should have my keys out within an hour... .



wouldn't even be worried about it, as my pickup normally doesn't move buy once a week while here at school, but I have a doctors appointment at 7:00 AM tomorrow that i can't miss.



Thanks for your help guys... gonna go get a new spare tomorrow too.
