Kia Sorento

My girlfriend has a 2003 Kia Sorento and I can not believe how quick this thing is



it sounds funny but it is fast, It instantly does burnoutsOo. (SHHH!)



and if you not careful in the rain you will lose traction upon acceleration



It only has 192 horsepower and 217 pounds-feet of torque and weighs 4255 pounds



Does Anyone else have one of these freaks??

I was pretty impressed too. I bought one not long ago at an auction. It had a bad motor. I put a used engine in it I found on ebay. I was amazed with the throttle response. It was a pretty decent vehicle. Replace the timing belt at 50k! It is an interference engine and if it breaks, it'll bend every dang valve in it.

Your right,Thats another thing, i got in it the other day and i have been driving my 99 CTD so i was use to that and went to take a turn from a light and everything in the back went allover:-laf

I think a lot of the throttle response comes from the intake manifold design. It has really long runners, but with a butterfly valve in it to open it up and make a really short runner on top end. It really gets up and goes though.
