Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) "Kick Down Cable" adjustment.

Hello to all, the kick down cable adjustment on the 96 Dodge Ram 2500 with Auto trans, will the adjustment happen if I press the pedal all the way to the floor?. some car makers have this type of adjustment. the Dodge service manual says to line up within 1 mm cable end. can someone who knows about this subject shed some light on this. Thanks for your help.

Throttle Valve Cable, or TV cable. It won't auto adjust, you have to manually do it. It's pretty sensitive, so do it right. Head over to Youtube and search for 47re tv cable adjustment, there should be some videos.
