Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Kick Down Cable Adjustment

I'm at work , so I don't have my manual in front of me. Just wondering how much trouble it is to adjust the kick down cable. How is it done? And on a scale of 1 to 10, how difficult for lets say the average back yard mechanic?

on my '97 the hardest part was figuring out the release part of the cable. Up by the plate where the kick down,throttle,and cruise cables come in at next to the injection pump, the kick down cable has a sort of squarish shaped thingy that is part of the kick down cable. It is on the rear side of the bracket. on this squarish thing there is a"button" you can push on that releases the cable enough so you can slide it in or out of the bracket, which is how the cable is adjusted. This 'button" is very hard to push, and it pushes toward the engine as I recall.
