Kick-off party update

[DHRA]

Talked with Regency owner CJ today. He is going to open the bar at the Regency at 5:00 pm Thursday the 3rd for folks arriving early. Friday will be the kick off party (probably around 4:00) and Saturday you will have a choice of hitting the Regency for drinks and finger foods (open at 8:00 pm) or there will be free rides to CJ's Neighborhood Bar and Grill. You are welcome to drive to the bar and grill, but if you want to not worry about a designated driver we will be supplying either a bus or limos, CJ is working on that detail right now.

The cost is $30 for all you can eat Texas Roadhouse food; three drink tickets and a dj on hand to spin some records. Since CJ's is less than a mile away, we won't be spending the money on the free rides.

Thunder in Muncie event tickets also will be available at the door Friday night. This party will start at 4:00 pm.

Early arrivals may also go to the Regency on Thursday evening at 5:00 pm for drinks. Saturday night finger foods and drinks will be available also, for all of you that are looking for a great time betweeen the shows.

Thunder in Muncie will have more vendors this year than ever before! New diesel shops are popping up everywhere and they will have their goodies at Muncie for you!

Pullers coming early...

The DHRA is having a sled pulling seminar at the Gaston track Friday afternoon at 1:00 pm. We will be done before the TiM kick off party, trust me.



This is for anyone who wants to pull, or is interested in learning how it is done.



For the veterans who have not pulled this sled or the track at Muncie before, feel free to come and ask any question you like.
