Competition killed 2 X HEMI tonight!!

I went to the local open night drag for the first time and of course had to line up with 2 different HEMI powered rams. As I had hoped they both went home with their tails between their legs! THere were no times or MPH's but My speedo was around 92-93MPH when I went through the 1/4 mile line. The only vehicle that beat me was a supercharged Ferd lightning, man they are fast

Were they 1500s or 2500s? 2wd or 4wd? I had a 2003 2500 4x4 quad cab hemi and I only took it to the track once and it ran a dismal 16. 5 @ 81 mph, very disapointing. The truck in my sig minus the mach4's when it had the 275 rv injectors ran a 14. 2 @ 92 mph. Haven't been back to the track since due to the lack of a turbo that can handle the fuel it's getting now.

They were both 1500 4WD with 20'' wheels. They both took me off the line but after I got in 4th I walked by them like they were stopped. I had a heck of a time launching off the line, it was either burning tires or bogging the turbo. I got better after practice but definately never mastered it.



They both couldn't believe they got smoked by a diesel.
