Finally, after reading all the horror stories, I tabbed that sucker. Wasn't a bad job, the parts that were supposed to be tough went well, and vice versa.

The pin was still flush. Slammed on the tab, checked the two other bolts (they were tight), and away we went. About 2 1/2 hours later we were done.

Thanks Joe G. and R. Ebel :D

Joe G's instructions are just fine and a bit of humor too. Glad you got it done, now you will forget it cause you did the labor!

Jim

Sent JoeG. the check and am waiting now for the tab and instructions. I have to say some things about these forums.

First: Hell of a lot of good info and heads up in here. I have had more things put right on my 'factory project' truck since I joined than in the almost 7 years I had the truck and was dealing with the 'Stealers'.

Second; The flips side of all the info and that a body can get well. .

paranoid about the damn things, reading all this stuff and being a green pea as far as mechanics goes. ;)

Let me just say a BIG thank you for all who have taken the time to post the how to's and various solutions.

1995 3500 SLT 4x4 Auto, build 9/94 Mexico. Borgenson shaft, reworked steering box, ATS manifold, PIERS HX 35, 180 injectors,

Dave,

I haven't got anything from you that I know of. I don't charge for this stuff so a check is not necessary. If I receive one I won't cash it. E-mail me at -- email address removed --.
