I was reading on the High Tech Turbo web site in the feed back section and a guy stated that with his KillerB2 he would have a flat spot while towing. What flat spot is he talking about? Would you recomend the KB2 for towing as well as hot rodding around ?:D

I have had all of the HTT turbos and like the Sledpuller the best, on my Killer B2 I had a dead spot or surging problems at 1700 to 2100 rpm if I remember right, on the HTB2 it would not cool nearly enough with my TST, but the Sledpuller pulls hard throughout the RPM's and really does a good job with the egt's. which would be a good turbo for my application (see sig) + possible injectors? Still waiting tohear back from quad on his recomendations, but the question is open to all.

I would definately go with the Sledpuller, I do not think that the other 2 turbos will cool enough when you get your injectors. Mike

I'v seen no such "flat spot" in mine  It pulls hard and spools well. I'd suggest it for towing and general hotrodding. Seems to be tough too because I've huffed it hard a couple times with no ill effects.

What kind of difference? How does it spool on the low end? Am I going to need injectors to enjoy it. I plan on getting some but just curious.

i don't know what u are experiencing but myself and a few others with the killer b had serious fluttering/surging issues. the sledpuller is a bit lagier but it's not anything like the killer b as far as surging. i think the killer b is good up to 500 hp then over that it struggles. the sledpuller handles my 600hp just fine cleans up the smoke good just a bit lagy so u have to do like a 25 lbs boost launch at times lol
