How do I post my truck for sale?

That is all, not trying to start trouble, but when I first subscribed & thought of subscribing, I remember the tech here being killer. Now I have trouble getting responses, seems like the tech here has gone way down hill. . All of my stuff is a little odd (4BT swaps and mostly using 6BT stuff on the 4BTs) but it is all Dodge specific for the most part. So I troll around looking for good info from maybe someone that can help. . Here is a perfect example. After a few days of looking I found the info myself, elsewhere...

Anyway, just wanted to rant a little bit I guess. . :(

You said yourself "All of my stuff is a little odd (4BT swaps and mostly using 6BT stuff on the 4BTs)". This website and magazine were started mainly around the Dodge Diesel Ram. As a result, it has been my experience over the last several years of membership that I can always find an answer to my tech questions (and provide some as well) on the TDR.

Keeping this in mind, you should really have the attitude that this site will provide usefull information about other types of vehicles and conversions but can't provide everything about your specific items when you are focusing on 4BT, not a 6BT in a RAM. Some users may feel that they don't want to steer you in the wrong direction as they aren't familiar with your subject matter. While the TDR is a large part of helping me maintain my vehicle, it is not my only source. Just me two cents worth. Good luck on your swap.

I completely agree.

The other thing is, some may have done a similar conversion, but may not have had the same issues that you may be dealing with.

The info here is archived, so sometimes it takes a little bit of digging. That is why I don't ask many questions. I normally wait to post a question if I was unable to find it doing a search.

Also, the members come and go, so the person that could answer a question may or may not still be here. Many of the regulars that I used to see here, aren't here anymore, or don't post as much as they used to. Or, in my case, I'm not on the boards everyday like I used to be, due to work.

Answers are not always found, yet questions abound. That's the trouble with being in the van; when you're doing new things, you sometimes have to puzzle them through yourself.

At least you aren't *too* bummed out. After all, you did post pics of your results, to help the next guy. Neat work!

I have found that when you get way out on the pointy end of the spear often you are the only one there unless there is a way that you can help others with a similar problem.

I would venture that not too many are doing what you are doing and therefore there is minimal interest, eventhough it is intensly interesting to you.

Just revel in the forward steps you are forging and the problem solving you are doing and like a previous post document it if anyone else ever does the same thing.

Don't worry about what others do or do not do, do what you want to do and take satisfaction in the battles you win.

I second the motion of really nice work.

Sometimes on the pointy end of the spear,
