HI

Just signed up, love this forum you guys seem to really know your stuff. Just bought "stole cheap" a 95 2500 regular cab auto. It just turned 100,000 miles, needed a little tlc in the body and interior department, nothing a good cleaning and a buffer didnt fix. The engine / drivetrain seems solid, doesnt look like the motor has ever been tinkered with. Muffler was the first to go, then silencer ring. Want to put a little fuel to it but im not sure (no gauges yet) after 15 years driving cat powered peterbilts, i know how important boost and pyro gauges are. How far can i go and still feel safe w/o gauges, I dont work the truck hard, just a daily driver, and hook to a sled at the county fair once or twice a year. ;)

transmission doesnt seem to slip at first unless the truck runs for a couple minutes then after that it drives fine?

Also was wondering if anyone put dual stacks on and how they piped around the fuel tank?

Well ill keep my first post short dont wanna be a pain:p

Thanks for the help

WELCOME

You already know this is the best place to ask questions and get opinions, I mean answers.

If you got concerns with the trany, the gang at DTT is your best source for answers. You may find out it is as simple as the infamous converter drain back or low fluid levels.

If you want to increase fueling contact Piers at TDR for your 12 valve needs.

If you want to pull skids, get gauges and contact PDR and DTT.

Sorry, cannot help with the stacks

answers or opinions?

So you want Stacks

Welcome to the club best $35 you ever spent. :D

I have a list of all the parts you need for a set of stacks just send me a P. M. and I will get it out to ya. Look at my sig. for pictures of how the stacks went in on my truck.

Good Luck

Cliff

You have to fix and upgrade the trans first, call DTT.

More hp is easy, add injectors, call Piers.

Guages are very important I would recommend them before you go any further than the injectors.

Hope this helps, Michael

P. S. I know you want more hp, but if you apply more power you will likley damage the trans.
