Any members in or around the Kinder, LA area? We are in the process of loading a truck and trailer full of food and clothes and delivering it to Kinder. We will be there tomorrow morning at around 0800. Is there anyone in the area who could help out unloading? We will probably make several more trips if the first works out well. We have a contact there who said they are in need of supplies. Anyone?

Killer59... ..... I am just south of Kinder, in Lake Charles. I just got back early this morning from southern New Orleans, pretty devastated down there. If I had seen your post earlier I would have met you up there and given you a hand. If you need anything else please let me know.

I appreciate your resonse. We made the trip and the people there were extremely thankful to recieve the goods. We delivered a 24 ft cargo trailer full of food and clothes. The First Baptist church there is currently feeding 1300 meals/day and can use all the help they can get, especially food. We are going to try to get another load of food only and deliver it soon. Hopefully we can make a difference. I have heard horrible stories from victims who have had to leave deceased loveones lying and evacuate. Another victim tells of seeing piles of bodies, including babies, lying around during his evacuation. Hard to fight the tears back when they relay their experiences. Truly a terrible situation!
