King Pin Replacing help

I am getting ready to replace my king pins in the D60. Does anyone recommend any specific kits to make the job easier? Also I will be relacing the wheel bearings while I'm at it, where is the best place to get them, advanced auto, Mopar, ect? Last question, how does the axle shaft come out???? I read a couple articles on it but no one said how it is held in???? Any help or suggestions on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!!!!!!

Thanks, MBolivar, great site! Did you have to put new upper King pins in your truck? I have a bad feeling mine were never done in its 236,000 mile life span.

That article is a great reference for the job. If you'd like to borrow a hex socket that fits the kingpin, PM me and we can work it out (basically you pay to ship it there and back). Where in PA are you located? I replaced both KP in my D60 last year. Did a fine job of getting rid of the "death wobble". I got my bearings/seals from NAPA and the KP kit(s) from eBay.

Randy's ring and pinion carries alot of stuff for this same job. When i did mine that is where I got most of my parts not to bad of prices either.
