I noticed a knocking or could feel it when touching the line from the rail to the head. All the others have a very slight tapping I would assume is the injector pulse.

Is this normal or should I be concerned?

It idles smooth, starts easy and no excess fuel in the engine that I can tell.

Any thoughts?

I just checked and I couldn't wiggle anything, but the #1 line (front most) doesn't have any clamp support on it. Is this right?

This is perfectly normal. The #1 line has a long unsupported span which tends to amplify the pressure pulses.

Thats great news rbattelle, thanks alot.

I never noticed it till I relocated the compressor for pacbrake.

Well thats one less worry, thanks again.

I made up a supporting clamp for my #1 line from an old 12-valve clamp. If you make one, be sure it doesn't flex the line any when you tighten it.
