Kodiak Sidewinder Step

Has anyone with running boards on their truck mounted the Kodiak Sidewinder Step under their running board, or know if it can be mounted under a board. I have the DeeZee stainless steel boards but with the 4x4 and Rickson Wheels the step is still quite high and my wife's legs are too short.

I'd considered trying it until I realized that the Sidewinder step is a lot shallower than many boards.



I just went with the Sidewinders [Dodge logo sticker - dealer installed option] when I ordered mine.



I'll soon be getting the ones for the rear doors.

I have the Sidewinders on mine and I can't see how they could work with any kind of running board or nerf bar. They fold up very close under the cab and when they're down, I don't think they would stick out far enough to get a good foothold with some other kind of step or board above it.

ARe you saying that the step couldn't be mounted on the running board? Not having seen one I'm not sure if this is possible or not.

Just had a thought of 2 Kodiaks per door, one longer arm one and one regular length, both activated by the same switch so you'd have a lower and an upper step, they could fold away from each other . Of course you'd have to adjust the positions a little but hmmm. Now I think that would be cool but a little over kill .
