I never seen it before the intercooler was impressive I'm sure the cost is also, not too impressed with the high ram intake but, the "VGT" garrett turbine was interesting except for the part where you need his contoller to make it work... Sounds like interesting things are in the works for turbos wish they all would hurry up I need one now...

Seen it, I think the Aurora MST will be more simplified. I thought the program was interesting but you have to consider it is an infomercial.

Both Extreme 4x4 and Trucks employ a new concept in advertising which is becoming more popular with advertisers, and that is incorporating a product plug into the show content, as opposed to a commercial break. This way it is guaranteed that 100% of the viewers see the advertisement instead of leaving the TV to get a beer, take a leak or buzz through the spot with Tivo or tape. These shows do this very blatantly, in others it's more subtle like a character drinking a Coke or Pepsi, showing these names is a commercial, paid for by those vendors.

Peter Treydte mentioned it a couple of times on this site before he was harassed into silence. I am interested, it sounds like an interesting and promising product.

I asked the guy who's been calling me and emailing me for 6 months (Banks rep trying to sell me a bundle) but he just clammed up when it came time to discuss the VGT product.

Peter T. said that their techs would have pricing and details after the show aired, but I haven't been able to get any answers.

I wish that BB turbo wasn't a dud. That's the one I want to try...

I saw the part on the VGT. I thought I heard him say that there was only 3mm of clearance!! I'm no engineer, but that sounds like too tight of a fit. . I would think that with production variances and such would make the odds of it not fitting properly on some trucks very high. That would be my luck anyway.

The VGR they had on the show was a proto type, soon to be released. The turbo is twice the size of or stock one with the center adjuster that adjusts with throttle position. They said it would act like kinking a garden hose giving more boost at lower rpm. Say good bye to turbo lag. You use two lower profile bolts on the exhaust manifold for clearance 3 mm shorter. Maybe the turbo we are looking for.
