Well,

A few weeks have gone by since I posted the control arm photos. Kroeker has been down in Baja off and on for weeks testing. I got to go on the first trip to Gonzaga Bay and man is that road bad. His truck handled it great with the new Billet Aluminum Control Arms. They seem to tighten up the steering and the bumps are not as sharp. He claims that the truck is stiffer and handles way better on the HWY.

Yesterday I got to put my hands on a set, not for my truck, and they are beefy! Just like the new towers, heavy duty, fully adjustable, some kind of Heim type joint on one end. Nice nice nice! I should have a set in a few weeks and do some bashing Boardman Style. I will post it up and let everyone know what they are like. I have been getting alot of emails asking about the Control Arms so I thought I would just post what I know. There is no release date as of yet but it is getting close for sure.

Enjoy,

Greg

Are you going to include the control arms in your DRC/Kore racing kit. That would complete the package. :) Soon as I save up and get the wife convinced I will be giving you a call... ... . soon hopefully.

The word for the day is "Legs"

Help spread the word...

:-laf :-laf :-laf

Suicide is not an option my friend. We are all, including me, in a hurry up and wait situation. Things are getting close as I have been told. Tuesday I should have my first set of control arms.

I will tell more then.

On a more serious note, how did you go about putting together your shock gassing regulator/tank/hose arrangement? With eight shocks and nobody in the area that I can rely on, I'm looking at becoming a little more self reliant.

Saw photos and prices for Contol Arms on Kore's website today~$2000 for a set :--) Greg do they work really well? :) They look kick *****

Here they are!!!

Control Arms

- Greater Control

- Greater steering precision

- Less vibration

- Fully Rebuildable

- Greater strength

- Adjustable for OE production aberrations

New for Heavy Duty Dodge Ram 4x4's. Computer-designed and CNC machined from solid 7075-T6 billet aluminum, these race-inspired control arms offer greater strength, smoother articulation, more steering precision, noise, vibration and harshness isolation and more tire clearance to retain your turning radius when running large off-road tires. They are also fully rebuildable, using special spherical bearings in front and large-diameter rubber bushings in the rear.

I just put my house on the market so I could get mine. It will put me alot closer to them too, sleeping in my truck!

control arms

I just purchased a set of Billet control arms for my 2002 4x4 dually from Weldtec Designs In Santee,CA. 619-596-9831. They are a little different than the ones from Kore but they look and work great and only cost me $1200. Let me know what you think of them.

Are those "just" urethane bushings? They look kind of like the Rancho arms I had on my last Dodge (other than they are aluminum instead of steel). I hated the way those urethane bushings rode.

Tell us about those bushings.
