Hey Guys,
There are some great things brewing at KORE and DRC is at the forefront of the action. Control arms are in the near future and I should have my hands on a prototype set real soon. The systems will now include all of the options that most have asked for anyway. Kore had to bite the bullet and increase pricing 10% across the board. This is the first company wide increase since the formation of Trex almost 3 years ago. As you know, Kroeker has gone above and beyond the call of duty in making KORE products continually improve to where they are currently at. All of this must cost more than one would usually consider. Some of you are going to say that the prices have changed before but most items have stayed the same for years. The increase will take place on May 16th. Until then, DRC will be selling at the current price level. . Here are a couple of exerpts from KORE'S letter to all dealers.
"As most of you are probably aware, increasing energy costs are taking the toll on our industry. Led by an unstable petroleum market, increased consumption, low inventory levels and historically high operating rates at the manufacturing level, steel and aluminum are being affected once again. Over the last year prices of some raw materials we regularly use in our production have risen up to 50%.
Despite significant cost reduction efforts and gains in productivity, we are simply unable to continue absorbing these increased costs.
In order to ensure optimal functioning of our suspension systems we will now sell them as complete packages only
Effective Monday, 16 May, 2005, all KORE suspension products will increase in price by 10%. Tires and wheels will not be affected.
As always, it has been our pleasure to earn your business and we would like to thank you in advance for your continued support. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at any time. "
Sincerly,
Kent L. Kroeker
