Hey Guys,

There are some great things brewing at KORE and DRC is at the forefront of the action. Control arms are in the near future and I should have my hands on a prototype set real soon. The systems will now include all of the options that most have asked for anyway. Kore had to bite the bullet and increase pricing 10% across the board. This is the first company wide increase since the formation of Trex almost 3 years ago. As you know, Kroeker has gone above and beyond the call of duty in making KORE products continually improve to where they are currently at. All of this must cost more than one would usually consider. Some of you are going to say that the prices have changed before but most items have stayed the same for years. The increase will take place on May 16th. Until then, DRC will be selling at the current price level. . Here are a couple of exerpts from KORE'S letter to all dealers.

"As most of you are probably aware, increasing energy costs are taking the toll on our industry. Led by an unstable petroleum market, increased consumption, low inventory levels and historically high operating rates at the manufacturing level, steel and aluminum are being affected once again. Over the last year prices of some raw materials we regularly use in our production have risen up to 50%.

Despite significant cost reduction efforts and gains in productivity, we are simply unable to continue absorbing these increased costs.

In order to ensure optimal functioning of our suspension systems we will now sell them as complete packages only

Effective Monday, 16 May, 2005, all KORE suspension products will increase in price by 10%. Tires and wheels will not be affected.

As always, it has been our pleasure to earn your business and we would like to thank you in advance for your continued support. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at any time. "

Sincerly,

Kent L. Kroeker

President, KORE LLC

There you have it straight from the horses mouth. If you have any direct questions about anything, please call DRC only. We are the Dealer for Kore on the TDR.

Enjoy,

Greg Boardman

DRC President

Does this mean that there will be items added to the CHASE system or just that you cannot buy the springs or such separagely?

If you have a current system and parts are added to future systems, will you be able to purchase single parts to bring your current system up to new standards?

Are the new control arms going to be part of the complete packages? If so, will those of us without them still be able to purchase them separately?

Price increases are coming faster then ever with the steel shortages, cost of oil and the subsequent domino effect of that hitting transportation costs, costs of plastics, costs of steel, costs of manufacturing etc etc.

I have been forewarned of increases coming before fall on plastics, steel again and utilities. :{

A company can only absorb so much.

Price increases are showing up everywhere and the Kore increase deal is not really all that bad. The one which I personally do not understand is the outrageous increase that AFE has laid out now,30% across the board on all filters, intakes and parts. That one was a big one... ... . Andy

All systems will include Billet Drop Blocks and HD Coils. UHP Systems ( Chase and Race ) will include BDB, Limit Straps, and HD Coils. If you have a system that didn't include these things it means that we didn't charge you for it. If you would like to upgrade to anything available, just give us a call... ..... Before the 16th... !

Rubber and plastic components are getting hit with increases too. Its amazing how many things are taking HUGE jumps in cost so fast. I am looking at an increase for braided teflon hose, steel fittings, brass fittings, biodiesel compatible hoses, machining costs, plastics increase etc etc. I still don't understand why a steak is so high priced up here when the farmer sees very little for his efforts. Sometimes I suspect a bit of price goudging by the big corporations making the plastics, steel etc... no... they would never do that. :-laf Even suppliers are upset and you can tell when they try to tell you.

Heres another example up here...

Cummins Pigtail was 12. 00

is 28. 00 now.

Carli Suspension rocks Desertbull's Off-Road Dodge

Hey Boyz... I was gone for a few days pre-running for the upcoming Baja 500 off-road race putting my Dodge Ram Desert Tank through the paces of big rocks, deep silt and long dirt roads and I see I missed some good stuff. :--)

My Dodge Ram 4WD Desert Tank rocked the Baja Peninsula once again and thanks to Carli Suspension for the latest professional work they performed on the Desert Tank before we left on our first of four Baja pre-run trips. (We go off the start line at the Baja 500 on June 4 Oo. )

As so many of you know from the detailed articles at Off-Road.com, Carli Suspension has been the installer of the outstanding performing KORE Suspension kits from back in the day of T-Rex Engineering. Both of my trucks, The Desert Tank and the new Desert Limo have had Carli Suspension install the KORE Suspension kits on our trucks. I recall the first time I showed up at my friend Paul's shop and Sage was there when I told these guys about the solid axle Dodge suspension. Capt. America Lives :D

Sometimes I think I'm wearing out Sage with my requests for his constant labor in R&Ring' coil springs, steering upgrades and tuning up the shocks with fresh oil after our brutal off-road adventures. I'm sure his chick is way tired of hearing the "I'm late excuse" because of yet another tweek on The Desert Tank or The Desert Limo.

Well, it's not going stop soon as we are leaving tomorrow and we'll be back late Sunday evening with an appointment at Carli Suspension set for early Monday morning.

Our latest project is the transformation of The Desert Tank to a full blown off-road desert chase truck... Oo. We've taken the entire bed off and fabricated a custom flat bed using chromoly 1 5/8" tube as the frame with a bad-azzzz flatbed made of steel. The spare tires are mounted in a fixed location, the jack is solidly mounted as is the icy cold FridgeFreeze and a big tool box. The MotoSat rack was cut off and we intergrated the roof mount into the FULL ROLL CAGE fabricated inside The Desert Tank.

Photos will follow this in a couple days.

Our trucks feature Defiant Truck Products light bar and protective rock shield for the Intercooler and transmission cooler lines, as well as many customized Carli Suspension/Defiant Truck Products projects that have yet to be unveiled.

See what KORE/T-Rex started way back thernnnnn..... there's bombing for the drag strip... and then there's heading to Baja for an off-road adventure where you are on your own!

When you visit Sage have him tell you the story about when I called him from my Satellite phone while I was on the Tortugas Peninsula (Basically in the middle of the Baja Peninsula where it juts out into the Pacific for about 160 miles out of Vizcaino... or anotherwards. . in the friggin' middle of nowhere) to ask him a question about the KORE suspension... Classic stuff!

And King Boardman Oo. That dude is a maniac! DRC and Carli Suspension bringing solid axle Dodge suspension to the forefront...

There is going to be an announcement in the near future of an off-road race that will be a point-to-point off-road desert race starting in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Chiuaua Mexico... something like 1500 miles!

All I got to say is "Got Dodge"..... imagine some 20 or 30 Dodge Ram off-road machines all in the same class/division racing for 1500 miles non-stop!

Line em' up... side-by-side... ATS Mike/Desertbull/Boardman/Carli Oo.

Git R' Done... . or as they say in Baja... obténgalo hecho

Of all the things I thought I'd NEVER hear spoken about a 6000+ pounds Dodge Ram with a Cummins, that has to be it. :D

My hat is of to KORE suspension Oo.

there sure is!!! its being promoted by our governor or mayor or something (i forget which is which, and dont give a crap either), and Al Unser. They want to bring more of the truck industry to New Mexico. There was an article in the Albuquerque Journal a while back highlighting this race idea. They were shooting for the summer of 05, but well see if that happens or not. I bet not. They wanted it to be known that it was the first ever multi-country race. The only race to cross an international border.

Bring it on. hopefully I'll have the system on my truck by then. ;)
