Does anyone know if the Kore Weld Wheels with the 35" Toyo's will fit in the stock spare tire location on a '05 3500 SRW long bed truck? Also does anyone make a cheap 18" wheel to use as a spare?

Thanks.

I asked that same question to Kent at KORE. He said that people have told him that the 35" tire would fit. My plan is to use a BFG 315 ( which WILL fit) as a spare on the stock spare rim. I know it's only 34. 5 inches, but I had a couple of people tell me that it is not enough in size difference to hurt the rear end??? I think that may be the cheapest alternative as far as I can tell. I certainly don't want an $850 spare/wheel combo under there.

Words well spoken. I've got a brand new 8 year old BFG AT and matching Rim in the back of my '96... (The the story on THAT was aluminum replacement mags with a steel spare, and only mag lugnuts) Does anybody rotate their spare in the rotation sequence?

Thanks for the replies. I agree $850 is too much for a spare. I like your idea, using a BFG 315 on the stock spare.

Thanks.

True and that tire has been out long enough you could get a used one for free from a tire shop that pays to haul them off. You don't need a brand new one for a spare.
