Tire load ratings-HELP, I am confused

I have problems with my truck as it is set up now, the SJ springs have sagged and I have horrible axle wrap. I know the Kore will bring the frontend back up to where I want it (2. 5" over stock) but how much will Kore's mini packs bring up the rear and will it help eliminate the axle wrap that I am having? I don't like having the frontend higher than the rearend and I need to bring the rearend up a little for my hitch height. Also will the mini leaves work with the factory secondary helper spring packs?

Thanks for the help!

Scrappy,

I had the Pace (now Recon) system on my truck. The front Kore springs will not sag because they are truly heavy duty. The mini packs raised the rear of my 2500 1 inch. The truck was nice and level. As far as I know, you can't use the overload spring in the pack as it won't contact the other leaves properly due to the continually smaller leaves in the mini pack. Greg Boardman tows with his truck and I think he uses an air bag setup to tow heavy. Here's a link to Greg's reader's rigs towing pics

(Hope you don't mind Greg)

The mini pack didn't solve any axle wrap problem I had before, but it didn't make mine any worse either. Before I had to sell my system for financial reasons, I was looking for the best setup for traction bars. I wasn't able to find something that looked good to me.

I was very happy with the system. It rode firmer, but it felt more balanced. The unloaded rear of my truck had a 100% improvement in ride.

My KORE system is awsome. 2. 5" front, about 1" rear and brings the truck to LEVEL. Contact "greg boardman" here on TDR or give him a call at DRC (866-361-1439) and he will help you out.

Scrappy,

As stated before, the KORE mini pak will raise the rear of your truck about an inch. It will carry the same load intended stock. If you have any questions please feel free to call me at any time. Tom posted the number above , Thanks Tom. I have towed a stupid amount of weight with my truck. Kore Equipped... . !

Greg DRC

Greg- are you going to tow a "stupid amount of weight" to May Madness this year???? Oo. Oo. Oo. (assuming that weight consists of the new KORE goodies)

The Other Greg

Greg,

Why did you switch to the new wheels? Any advantage over the Weld's? Maybe the beadlocks? I assume they are real beadlocks.

DRC bombed honda 4wheeler :--) Just kiddin. really nice flex, it would be great to see what a stock truck could do ... or not!

Thanks Brian,

I was just out playing around with my truck and quad. Happened to have the camera and snapped a few cool photos. I wasn't sure it would make it up the soft ledge without a locker. Went up with no problem, Toyo's really get some grip in the sand.

Greg- Looks like you've been bending tubes again... Is that tailgate a new DRC offering? UH, OOPS, I mean... . bending tubes in a CONTROLLED manner.

T. O. Greg :D

Doubleclutch,

It is a new product we carry. It is called a Tire Gate. It opens and closes just like tailgate, is reversable to allow fitment of dirtbikes and opens far enough to just drive them in. I just happen to have a couple available:D

Greg DRC

Those tires might be ok for the street at 18PSI but i don't think that you can say that the bulb must be burnt out on the right tail light. ;)

I lost that one day after testing some parts for KORE. I did a huge jump with Kroeker in the truck and landed flat from 6 feet in the air. Tailgate came off, smashed the light and such... . Painful and expensive! I do have a new light and a set of Long Bed Custom bedsides to install. Thanks for lookin out J,

Greg

I would hate to see what i would be missing/broke/destroyed with my stock suspension landing from 6 feet. A missing tail light would be the least of my worries

Kroeker Says " NO NO NO NO NO... ... ... ... ... That does not properly represent what we need to show our customers... ... I hope you are not even thinking about doing that with a customer in the truck... ... .

I say, " But it was really cool, right?

One Word..... Yes!!!!!!!

I had to test a new track bar... pre production unit..... catistrophic failure in under 24 hours in the hands of DRC. The production track bar is still holding up fine...
